The Capital Regional District's(CRD) Sooke and Electoral Area Parks and Recreation Commission (SEAPARC) is engaging the community in developing a concept design for the Sooke Skate Park renewal project.
The Sooke Skate Park was built in 1997 by the Rotary Club of Sooke and is currently operated by SEAPARC Recreation. It has reached end-of-life and is identified as a priority in the 2015-2030 SEAPARC Strategic Plan.
Funds have been allocated to complete a concept design which, once complete, will provide a plan for future development and upgrades to the Sooke Skate Park and identify unique features that will enhance user experience.

This will be considered, along with geotechnical information and any additional comments, to create guiding principles for SEAPARC staff and the Skate Park Advisory Committee to review prior to start of conceptual designs.
