Survey #1 - Feedback on Existing Conditions
Salt Spring Island (SSI) is undertaking an Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP). The ATNP will build on the 2013 Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan and guide the Island's active transportation network development over the next 10 to 20 years. The plan will address critical active transportation issues by identifying priority projects with a focus on Ganges. The ANTP will help SSI manage transportation and demographic changes while improving residents' and visitors' quality of life, safety, and mobility.
Public engagement is critical to developing the ATNP to ensure that the final recommendations reflect the needs and priorities of Island residents. Your feedback will be used to create preliminary recommendations for pedestrian and cycling infrastructure options across the Island. The intention is to return options to the community later this fall for your feedback.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes, and all responses will be kept confidential and anonymous. The survey will be open until 11:59 pm on October 31, 2022. Thank you for your time and participation! Let's get started.
