Moving Together: Regional Transportation Plan Q2 Survey
Help shape how we get around the capital region.
The Capital Regional District (CRD) is creating a Regional Transportation Plan. It will guide how people and goods get around the region—and how communities connect to each other—for the next 30 years.
We've spent the past several months listening to local governments, advisory committees, and community groups. Now we want to better understand your experiences getting around the region, and what transportation priorities matter most to you.
This survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Your input will help shape a draft Regional Transportation Plan that will be shared for additional public feedback before it is finalized in 2027. We’ll publish a summary of what we learned on the project page later this year.
A few things to know before you start:
- This survey is about the bigger picture — how people and goods get around the region as a whole
- It focuses on regional transportation issues rather than specific streets or local projects
- Your feedback will help the CRD understand where people think regional transportation improvements are most needed
- All questions are optional
- Your answers are anonymous
The CRD is committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is collected by the CRD under the authority of sections 26(c) and 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). This information is being collected for the purpose of the Regional Transportation Plan. All responses will be analyzed in aggregate only, and will not be used to identify individual respondents. Your information will be protected and handled in accordance with FOIPPA and used only for stated purposes.
If you have any questions about the collection of this information, please contact: Jay Douillard, Senior Transportation Planner at transportation@crd.bc.ca
