The Capital Regional District's(CRD) Sooke and Electoral Area Parks and Recreation Commission (SEAPARC) is engaging the community in developing a concept design for the Sooke Skate Park renewal project.

The Sooke Skate Park was built in 1997 by the Rotary Club of Sooke and is currently operated by SEAPARC Recreation. It has reached end-of-life and is identified as a priority in the 2015-2023 SEAPARC Strategic Plan.

Funds have been allocated to complete a concept design which, once complete, will provide a plan for future development and upgrades to the Sooke Skate Park and identify unique features that will enhance user experience.

Here's how you can participate:

  • Concept Design Workshop @ SEAPARC Recreation Centre
    • May 6, 5:30-7:30pm
  • Online survey
    • May 7-21
  • Draft Design Presentation Workshop
    • subscribe to get an update once details are confirmed
